Does ER Lawn Care bag/remove grass clippings?

ER Lawn Care does not currently provide grass/clippings removal as part of our contracted services agreement. However, we do provide removal upon request at a starting rate of $120 per instance. Inquire with one of our staff members if you would like to include this service, as larger properties will require an additional fee.

To address the clippings created by mowing, our equipment features specific mulching blades. These blades cut the clipped grass into the smallest of pieces that are then reintroduced to the soil to help naturally fertilize. This cuts down on the number of clippings resulting from a mowing service.

What should I do to prepare my lawn before ER Lawn Care mows?

Preparing your lawn for our mowing services shouldn’t take a lot of time or effort. We ask that you remove any toys, hoses, or other objects from the lawn that might interfere with mowing.

Please remember to unlock any necessary gates to access your lawn as well. You should also be sure to refrain from watering the day we are scheduled to mow.

At the same time, we know that life can happen. That’s why we carefully inspect all our properties before we even pull our mowers off the trailer. We may move/mow around any objects from your lawn at our discretion. ER Lawn Care is not responsible for any damage done to objects remaining on the lawn prior to mowing services.

What are ER Lawn Care’s billing terms?

ER Lawn Care requires payment in full upon sign-up for services less than $2,000. With our receipt of this payment, we begin your contract, schedule your services, and secure the materials necessary for completing the work.

How can I schedule notifications?

Our client portal makes it easy to schedule notifications for upcoming service visits. Navigate to your dashboard to see past services information as well as any scheduled services.

What services does ER Lawn Care provide in the Lawn Fertilizer Program?

Our Lawn Fertilizer Program includes a base program of 6 standard treatments. Each treatment addresses a specific concern, from preventing crabgrass and spraying broadleaf weeds to controlling grubs and spreading season-long fertilizer. This package will control the vast majority of weeds in your lawn while still keeping it fresh and green.

If you would like to add insect and disease control services for your shrubs to this program, please contact us for a custom quote.

What does the Lawn Care Fertilization schedule look like?

ER Lawn Care provides 6 total applications of fertilizer.

We apply our first application from February 1 to May 15. The second application falls between March 1 and May 31, while the third application is done between June 1 and Independence Day.

Our fourth application falls between June 1 and July 15. The last two applications occur between September 15 and Halloween and November 1 and December 31.

How often should I water my grass if I’m in the Lawn Care Fertilization Program?

We recommend you water your lawn to get at least 1 to 1.5 inches total on it per week. This includes rainwater.

If you have an irrigation system, you should consider setting up a program to water 1-3 times per week to achieve this amount, depending on the time of year. If you are watering manually, water twice a week to achieve this overall amount.
