What does ER Lawn Care’s Cleanup Program include?

Our Cleanup Program varies with the seasons:

Spring Cleanup and Mulch Application

After a long, cold winter, our Spring Cleanup helps wake up your lawn and landscaping to look fresher than ever. We take care of weeds, re-edge flower beds, trim shrubs and hedges, and clean up leaves and small debris. We also apply a pre-emergent herbicide to flower beds before adding more mulch.

Fall Cleanup and Mulch Application

When the leaves begin to fall, our Fall Cleanup program is there to prepare you for winter. We also provide the same services as our Spring Cleanup, except for our leaf removal service.

Landscaping Maintenance Visits

In between our scheduled Cleanups, we also provide a total of 6 maintenance visits. During these visits, our staff address any weeding/edging/trimming necessary to keep your lawn looking great. We do not include leave removal or mulching services during these visits.

What does ER Lawn Care’s Cleanup Subscription schedule look like?

Our Cleanup Subscription service runs year-round, pending weather conditions. Here’s an example of our program for an entire year:

Spring Cleanup: February through March

Spring Mulching: March through May

Landscaping Maintenance Visits:

• 2 in May
• 2 in June
• 1 in July
• 1 in August

Fall Cleanup: September through October

Fall Mulching: September through October

Please note, we issue credits for any services not completed due to weather delays.

How long does it take for ER Lawn Care’s Cleanup Subscription services to begin after I sign up?

We strive to complete your first Cleanup Service within 1-2 weeks of signing up, weather permitting.

Does ER Lawn Care trim shrubs and hedges during Cleanup Subscription visits?

ER Lawn Care trims all shrubs and hedges less than 12 feet in height. However, our crews will determine on-site at their discretion which shrubs and hedges should be trimmed prior to bloom.

Most of the trimming we do is done during Spring and Fall Cleanups to address the heaviest growth. We do not trim in the winter or early spring, especially those plants with spring blooms.

Any plants with spring blooms, such as the Rose of Sharon, Crape Myrtle, Hibiscus, Butterfly Bush, Hydrangeas, Lilac, Forsythia, Azalea, and Rhododendron, will not be trimmed in early spring or winter.

Does ER Lawn Care trim the trees with a Cleanup Subscription?

ER Lawn Care does not include tree trimming with our cleanup services. We charge an additional fee for trimming trees under 12 feet high upon request only. However, we can refer you to a tree contractor for trees larger than 12 feet in height.

Does ER Lawn Care include mowing the grass in the Cleanup Subscription service?

No, we do not include grass mowing in our Cleanup Program.

Does ER Lawn Care remove existing mulch before installing new mulch with the Cleanup Subscription service?

ER Lawn Care does not include existing mulch removal in our services. However, we can complete this task for an additional fee upon request.

In most cases, existing mulch shouldn’t need to be removed. The elements within the mulch break down over time, so adding additional mulch is simply replenishing that supply to continue to support plant life growth.

Do I have to be present for ER Lawn Care’s Cleanup services?

We do not require that you be present for our Cleanup services. Through our client portal, you can easily reference the day and time we plan on completing our services to plan accordingly.

How should I prepare my property before each Cleanup service?

Please remember to remove any toys or hoses from your lawn before each visit. We ask that you also refrain from watering the day we perform our Cleanup services.

If your property includes any gates necessary for accessing the lawn, we ask that you open/unlock these for our crews.
